Consultations

The Process

Initially, you will be asked to complete a questionnaire before the first meeting.

Jane will evaluate your current nutritional status, look at your past health, your current diet and lifestyle, your food likes and dislikes, and advise on changes that will support optimal health for you.

A personalised nutritional plan will then be created along with lifestyle recommendations to help you on your way to achieve your goals to good health. That could be to lose weight, feel more energetic, have better sleep, improve your mood and degree of calm or learn to deal better with stress.

No dietary plan can be complete without looking at how we manage the stress in our lives because it hugely affects our digestion.

Consultations usually last an hour. Follow-up consultations are usually 4 weeks later.

Jane often advises on strategies for you to deal with dining out, how to carry on with your plan on holiday, travelling or work situations and emotional eating. It is often not as difficult as you may envisage, provided you stick to a few basic principles.

The aim is to help you achieve a degree of wellness that will enable you to enjoy your life to the full by guiding you to make good food choices and make lifestyle modifications.

Testing

It may, on occasion, be beneficial to run functional tests in order to fully understand a client’s nutritional status.

What's your motivation?

There's nothing like a special occasion to kick-start you into action. With Summer  around the corner, maybe you are planning a family holiday, a long planned special trip or even a wedding.

Whatever is on the horizon for you, if you are feeling and looking your best, with masses of energy and vitality, you feel more confident and ready to take on the world!

If you're getting married, you'll want to look and feel your absolute best both on the day and on your honeymoon.

Jane can offer consultations to support you through this enjoyable (but sometimes stressful) time. She'll advise on eating the best possible foods in the months beforehand. This is really important to keep up your energy levels, to get your weight where you want it to be, to ensure your hair and skin is in great condition and, of course, to stay calm.
